The Organization collects and processes personal data in accordance with its internal data protection rules and procedures, to the exclusion of any national legal system.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Where personal data processing is necessary, UN Tourism will only use such data for the fulfilment of its obligations in relation to the Observatory and after consulting the same.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>UN Tourism will ensure adequate protection of personal data in accordance with its applicable rules and procedures. In this regard, personal data shall be:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Processed fairly, for legitimate purposes and in a transparent manner in relation to the data subject.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Collected for specific, explicit and legitimate purposes and not subsequently processed in a manner that is incompatible with those purposes.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which they are processed.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Accurate and, where necessary, up to date.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Kept in a form which enables data subjects to be identified for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the personal data are processed; and&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Processed in a way that ensures appropriate security of personal data.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In this regard, UN Tourism will comply with the Personal Data Protection and Privacy Principles adopted by the United Nations to protect the confidentiality, integrity and security of the personal data provided to it. <a href=\"https:\/\/archives.un.org\/sites\/archives.un.org\/files\/_un-principles-on-personal-data-protection-privacy-hlcm-2018.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Principios sobre Privacidad y Datos Personales<\/a>, adoptados por las Naciones Unidas para proteger la confidencialidad, integridad y seguridad de los datos personales que se le faciliten.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When visiting the Observatory\u2019s website, links may appear that may redirect you to other websites and online platforms operated by third parties.
